    Enzymes...

    The Power Realized!

    Enzymes?
    It is surprising that despite research on enzymes for decades,
    many of us know very little about them. Basically, enzymes
    are proteins. Enzymes function as catalysts in a body, which
    help to speed up biochemical reactions and make cell function
    possible. They are involved in every process of the body, and
    there are thousands of different enzymes. Enzymes are involved
    in all biochemical reactions including things like energy pro-
    duction and metabolism, the immune system, the reproductive
    system and the digestive system. Without enzymes, these pro-
    cesses and systems would cease to function and life could not
    exist.

    Diet and Enzymes
    Your diet effects the function of your body's enzymes critic-
    ally! Poor nutrition and toxins interfere with proper func-
    tioning of enzymes, and without sufficient vitamins and miner-
    als enzymes will not function optimally. Most "diets" do not
    provide enough essential nutrients to keep the body's metabolic
    systems running at optimal levels. The body is then forced to
    slow it's metabolism and find sources of nutrients elsewhere,
    usually from your lean muscle. This results in fatigue, irrit-
    ability, and reduction in lean muscle mass. Weight loss comes
    to a stop- the plateau we are all so familiar with. When we
    return to a "normal" diet, the weight is regained as the body
    struggles to find balance.

    Even if your goal is not weight loss, if your diet is low in raw
    foods (the best source of enzymes), your body will need to rely
    on internal sources.

    It's a vicious cycle...
    unless we nourish our bodies properly, and optimize our meta-
    bolic enzymes. The faster our metabolic enzymes work, the
    more calories we will burn. And regardless of what the latest
    fad or diet guru says, the basic equation of burning more
    calories than you consume for weight loss to occur cannot
    be ignored.

    Break the cycle!
    It's up to you. It's your body, the only one you will get!
    It is your choice what you put in it, what you fuel it with,
    and how well you provide it what it needs to work optimally.

    The Top 10 Ways to Prosper in Difficult Times

    To prosper means to grow, to thrive, or to do well. Prosperity
    has less to do with your financial state than with your state
    of mind. Money naturally ebbs and flows but true prosperity is
    changeless.

    1. Have faith in the goodness of life.
      Worry is just faith turned inside out.
    2. Look for the beauty in life that is free for the taking.
      Beauty is everywhere, in nature, in people, and in
      some of the most mundane things in life. Beauty has
      a way of lifting your spirit and expanding your
      consciousness.
    3. Do one thing differently every day.
      Flexibility is crucial in difficult times.
    4. Open your mind to new opportunities.
      Difficult times are tremendous opportunities. See
      what is wanted and needed and start doing it.
    5. Forgive, forgive, forgive.
      Forgiveness opens you up for the goodness in life.
      Forgiveness is empowering because it frees your energy
      to create from love instead of fear, resentment, or
      regret.
    6. Let go of what is no longer producing the results
      that you want.
      Habits can be either efficient or limiting.
      Stay conscious.
    7. Meditate.
      Meditation is relaxing, a door to inspiration, and
      can energize you. Often in difficult times we do not
      let the mud settle in order to be able to see clearly.
      Be still.
    8. Turn fear into fuel.
      Acknowledge the fear.Examine the fear. If there is
      something that needs to be done, do it. If there is
      no validity to the fear, let it go. Fear is not based
      in the present and is therefore unreal.
      Choose to BE HERE NOW.
    9. Economize.
      This is not a negative thing; it simply means to use
      your resources wisely. Do not squander your energy,
      time, or money. Control what you have control over
      and let go of the rest. This is a Life Strategy.
    10. Be on purpose.
      Create S.M.A.R.T. goals and demonstrate full integrity.
      S- Small Changes, plus Small Steps, equal Sizable
      Achievements.
      M- Measurable: Have a way of tracking your progress.
      A- Achievable: I am a firm believer in being outrageous
      and; there are some outcomes are not under your control.
      (Example: You cannot make your mate better, but, you can
      accept him or her the way they are.)
      R- Be responsible for achieving your goal. Do the things
      that can only be done by you. No blaming. No Excuses.
      T- True to your values and by a definite Time.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
           morning through trees
                Give ear to my words, O LORD,
                consider my meditation.
                Hearken unto the voice of my cry,
                my King, and my God:
                for unto thee I will pray.
                My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD;
                in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee,
                and will look up.
                Psalm 5:1-3
    A musician must make music, an artist must paint,
